Downloading from game pass

    Gears of War 3: Season Pass Issues

    Try re-downloading your season pass and then try downloading everything from the Gears of War game, not the marketplace.

    Xbox GamePass Question

    So I've got a fairly large game collection. Probably 200 games purchased and around 100 downloaded from Xbox Game Pass.

    1. Is there anyway I can see which games are from Game Pass and which I have purchased?
    2. Is there anyway to easily see if a game that I downloaded on gamepass is no longer available to play as part of game pass?

    I'd like to clean out all the games that are no longer on Game Pass.

    One possible reason as to why you're encountering this issue is due to the game not properly installed. Let's isolate your concern by clarifying the following details:

    • Are you getting any error messages when you try to play the game?
    • Are you using an Xbox One console or a Windows 10 PC?
    • Is this the only game you're experiencing this issue?

    If you're using an Xbox One console, we recommend clearing the console's persistent storage. This will delete corrupted game cache. Here are the steps:

    1. Press the menu key of the controller.
    2. Go to Settings > Disc & Blu-Ray.
    3. In the BLU-RAY section select "Persistent Storage".
    4. Select "Clear persistent storage".

    i am experiencing this same issue.. Downloaded 7.6g and will not start up, error 0x803f8001, wich basically says theres no disk or license shared.. Im set to home share and this game was installed on my profile. I can play other games previously installed
    from both "live" and "game pass" so its just this game.

    We'd like to know if you've tried clearing your console's persistent storage.

    If you encounter the same issue after clearing your console's persistent storage, kindly proceed with removing and re-adding your Xbox profile. Refer to

    How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One     for the steps. Make sure to restart your device before re-adding your profile.

    Game Pass itself doesn't share, but the games downloaded from it do. They should be able to access any games you've downloaded from Game Pass in their Games and Apps.

    Simple if you download it on games with gold it is signed as owned but if you download it via game pass it is there til removed from game pass.
