Downloading free gold game after times up Xbox one

Does anyone know if its possible to download the free gold game after th date limit on xbox one. I know ican do it on xbox 360 by starting the download then canceling it and going to the previous downloads in the settings. Just wondering because i have
satilite internet which has a cap on how many GBS i get per month. Any help would be appreciated. Also does any one know if apps and such are always running in the backgroun? THANKS

Anyone having problem while downloading ryse son of rome from the store?

I started downloading ryse son of rome this month free game in gold subscription but it gets stuck after downloading 8gb of data,ive tried reinstalling it several times but still getting the same result.

Games Send Me To Home Screen!!! Why?

Maybe try downloading the free with gold games and see if they work OK for you. The free with gold games for Xbox One can be found here,

Yes, you can do the same on the Xbox One. Once you choose to download it to your console, you cancel the download and it will remain in your 'Ready to Install' list within 'My Games and Apps'. However, you will need an active Xbox Gold subscription on
the Xbox One to re-download and play Xbox One GWG titles. They aren't strictly free like they are on the Xbox 360 GWG.

Some apps use data in the background as does the OS. I have no figures for how much though. The biggest data consumption would be game updates, these will not download in the background unless you have set your console to 'Instant On'. These downloads are
conducted when the console is in stand-by. To prevent these, keep your console in 'Power Saving' mode.

Right on thanks was also wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be worth it for me to buy the elder scrolls mmorpg being that i only get 150 gb of data for my satelite internet a month. Really love the elder scroll game just don't want it to eat all
my data

It depends what games they are, the games chosen for the free games for gold subscribers are all time fan favourited games and it's up to the Xbox department what games they showcase for free download.

You'll just have to wait and see what games are available to download in September til December and there are 2 free games during that month, 1st and 16th every month til December and after Xbox One's release.

I dont store my credit details on Microsoft.not after I got ripped off. I can downloaded free games and games with gold for xbox one . It's just the 360 free games you need to have a payment set up . Surely it should know your subscribed to gold .
