    Downloading Forza Horizon 5


    Error code 0x00000001 every time I go to install the base and premium edition of Horizon 5. I had preloaded it and played it on launch hour and had it working fine aside from the day 1 bugs as expected and had played with friends for a good 3 hours. I wake up later today to go and play and I find that I could no longer launch the game via the Xbox app or desktop shortcut normally as it just kept displaying the message "Something went wrong launching your game." The only way I was able to play the game was to launch the game as an administrator through the desktop shortcut, but open loading into the game to go into a convoy with my friends, it seems as I was always offline, and could never connect to the main servers, all the while still having access to the auction house and user made liveries/tunes. Frustrated that I couldn't figure out a solution, I tried the old fashioned uninstall/reinstall, only to find out I can't reinstall the game anymore with the same continuous error happening immediately after hitting the install putting, with the same error code (0x00000001) every time. It's worth noting that I definitely have more than enough storage for it to download. I can't determine if this is an issue on my end or not.

    I had purchased the premium edition and it annoys me that I am now apparently not allowed to play already due to an error.

    My current specs if relevant are as follows:

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

    Ryzen 7 4800H

    16GB of RAM

    Current OS is an up to date Windows 11.

    Cant download Forza Horizon 5

    I found the fix...

    When u open forza horizon 5 standard edition page scroll down where you see forza horizon 5 game and download that...

    The download will start

    Forza Horizon 5 gets stuck on preparing and then cancles - Windows 11

    This is what helped me and got Forza to download.
    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

    Incomplete download, after reboot cannot download nor can i free up space

    Hi, I'm lvnley and this is what helped me and got Forza to download!

    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.
