    Downloading fails


    Hi,



    Downloading any games/content fails when the download gets suspended while watching youtube or playing any other online game.



    Even if the game has downloaded 90% of it's content it will fail when the download gets interrupted for whatever reason. Is this an issue because of the previous patch?

    Can't install latest update

    Hi all. The latest system update keeps failing. Did all the usual stuff, power cycled it etc. Doesn't download.

    • Tried downloading wired - fails
    • Tried downloading wireless - fails
    • Tried downloading using my phone 4g hotspot (fails but now I know it's not a network issue)
    • Downloaded the Offline tool - unzipping it throws 'corrupt file' warning messages all over the place.
    I'm at the end of my tether. I've not been able to use the xbox for days now. Can anyone please advise?

    That typically what happens thats not a bug

    You arent supposed to be doing anything online on the console while things are downloading

    Playing an offline game is ok just no multiplayer

    Also if your account region doesnt reflect your actual region that would be why

    (excluding us foreign bases are using foriegn ips)

    Even with pc if you pause a download there is a high chance of it corrupting depending on when it stops

    kk not pausing the download at all, still failing. Also enquired and three other xbox live members are experiencing the same issue on the 360. No download issues for Xbox one users. Some downloads fail at 7%.

    PS downloads successfully paused and continued later on when interrupted in the past. example being as in/with download accelerator. Thinking now this all started with the previous patch, hmmm MS?

    This issue should be resolved and Red Alert should download correctly now.

    EXACTLY the same is happening to me, with the same game. The fact that the same thing is happening to more than one person must mean it's down to the game...

    kk not pausing the download at all, still failing. Also enquired and three other xbox live members are experiencing the same issue on the 360. No download issues for Xbox one users. Some downloads fail at 7%.
