Downloading dlc for a delisted game

This question is similar to something someone named Gandering Goose posted recently. Jump Force got delisted earlier this month but a few days before it did I bought all the dlc that I didn't own yet because I knew it would be my last chance. It worked and I installed everything fine, but when my friend who I game share with tried installing it after the game was delisted most of the dlc was missing. As a test I tried using my account to install it on a family members console and had the same problem. I'm technically fine for the time being but I don't like the idea of getting a new console and losing access to the dlcs I just bought. If anyone has a solution to this problem please help!

It's actually not an issue with the code itself, but the DLC. The DLC for that game was delisted a while ago so it's no longer available for download.

Since the game is listed, the DLC is the delisted along with it

You'll have to access the game from your library and manually download the DLC

Perhaps. We have no way to guarantee that it will work, but in theory, if you move the game data onto an external drive and run it from there on consoles that you connect it to, it should still work.

If you're interested in purchasing a storage device for the Xbox, we can recommend taking a look through the Microsoft Store online and picking an Xbox compatible portable hard drive from there. Best of luck!

Thank you but I don't want to refund it. I just want to make sure I have access to the stuff I paid for in the future, even if I buy a new system. So if I bought an external storage device then would I be able to save the game and dlcs on there to make sure I don't lose access to them if I get a new console?

Publishers can block DLC from being shared.
