    Downloading digital game


    Hi all,

    I have purchased and downloaded Call of Duty Black Ops 2 on my sons xBox One as I believed it could be downloaded digitally and is backwards compatible (not a gamer at all, so apologies if this is incorrect)...

    It is showing in the queue screen as recently installed, but when selected won't open, it's also not appearing in his games list.

    Now when I go to the Microsoft store, it's telling me it is installed and needs a separate game?

    I have tried 'power cycling', checking connections etc as suggested by the virtual help.

    Any advice is appreciated. Please help!

    Downloading games taking a long time

    Are you downloading from a disc or a digital download? It took about 5 hours to download call of duty as a digital game. If downloading the digital version it will take quite a while depending on your internet speed. If downloading from a disc try disconnecting
    from the internet and downloading the game that way.

    You would have to purchase the game digitally in order to download it. There is no way to download the digital version just by owning the disc.

    BC games do not install from the disc, but are downloaded digitally from the store.

    Is this a disc or previous digital download for the 360?
