Downloading and playing backwards compatible games from Microsoft Store

Xbox 360 discs will work on an Xbox Series X console as long they are backward-compatible games. The complete list of backward-compatible games can be found at: https://www.xbox.com/games/backward-compatibility

Inserting a backward-compatible disc will trigger a digital download for the game. Please note that even though the game will be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, you'll still need to keep the disc inside the console to play.

In addition to above when you insert an Xbox 360 disc for a game that is backwards compatible your console will need to download the backwards compatible version of the game from the Microsoft servers and you must keep the disc in the console to play the
game.

Hello, Prepaid Credit Cards will also work, just to give you some quick advice, those ones you buy at any retail store and can load anywhere from 10-100 onto it, thats what I do to buy stuff instead of using a "real" credit card, it makes it safer on everyone,

No. Only games and apps that can be downloaded onto the console are those offered through the store.

If you want to play 360 games on the console they need to be in the backward compatibility list.
