    Downloading a new Profile doesn't work...


    when i was visiting a friend i was trying to download my profile to his xbox so we could play with my account but there was a problem, it sayed it wasn't able to download profile or something like that with a code: 80151012.

    i readed that i have to delete my profile on ever xbox i had on the website so i did it, but now im not able to download it again on my xbox...

    Can't download Happy Wars

    Doing that doesn't work. I already attempted it. As for downloading it under a new profile apparently it needs to be a gold membership, because the download option doesn't show up for the new profile I just created.

    80151012 refers to your security, can you sign in on
    https://account.live.com?


    if yes check security and Password - do you have 2 validated entries?

    if yes check for two step verification - is this enabled?

    if yes try disabling it.

    do you have the same or a different code on your own xbox?

    what does it respond with when you try sign in?

    Also having this issue. I know all passwords etc are correct so is there any other reason it's happening?

    heyy wpak, thats what i already didDownloading a new Profile doesn't work... :( but thanks for the answers, i will try the recover once, one question, when i recover my email address, will everything be deleted, like my prestige master or something like that?

    Ok, as far as I know, that shouldn't delete anything. The purchases etc should remain connected to your account, there is no reason that should change.

    Also be aware that you might have to contact Xbox Support if none of the options work
     
  11. 8015 in your code means your account has something missing/unverified in the security and needs to be fixed

    Go to account.live.com/proofs (if possible use a PC and Internet Explorer as the Microsoft security pages don't always work with other browsers/devices)

    Login with your account (login email and password) and verify access if your PC is not yet trusted

    Check 3 things on the Protect Your Account page

    1. Make sure you either have Two Step Verification OFF

    OR set up TSV correctly with a smartphone ID app (and that you are using the ID app passcode instead of the password)

    2. Make sure you have two verified security options (email and/or phone number) other than your login email address (your login email will not count for the 2 verified security options)

    3. Set up the 25 character recovery code (this code causes a back end change so the system knows you have updated the security) Also keep the code somewhere safe since it can be used to reset the password and wipe all account security options (replacing
    them instantly and not having to wait 30 days for the update)

    Then check "recent activity" listed on the left and see if your recent attempts show a really weird location (like the IP is in another state or country)

    If it looks really odd but it was you; see if you have the option to agree that the activity was your activity

    ---

    On the console:

    Delete the following system item files if you have them: Rights Database, Marketplace System data, Content Cache and Product Improvement Data

    -to get to your system items: Settings>system settings>storage>primary storage device>system items

    Clear the system cache 3 times (
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache
    )

    Now re-download your profile

    Do not save the password, but please sign in

    Make sure you can get online

    If you can get online, please restart the console. This time login normally (you can save the password now) and make sure you can still get online and play

    ***if the profile is not corrupted this will simply refresh the profile and help the console see all the security updates. If the profile is corrupted then the profile will fail to download and seem to vanish from the console's sign in options. If this
    happens go to settings>system settings>storage>primary storage device>profiles>locate the corrupted profile file (if still present) and then Delete Profile ONLY do NOT delete profile and items unless you want to lose your game saves

    ---

    If the profile did not download at this point; login into a second profile on the console

    Launch the IE app from that second profile

    Go to account.live.com/proofs

    Login with your main account and when you are about to enter the password to verify your ID, use the box that says "don't ask for a code," This step will add a "cookie" to your console cache that will help the console see the console as trusted.

    Then back out and try to download the profile again.

    If this still fails support will be the best option

    Anybody else having issues with error code 8015000A on the 360 again?

    Yes, that could be a problem.
    However, could you try the app password option and use the new app password instead of your current password to download your profile?

    In case that option doesn't work, and if you're able, try adding a new alias and use the new alias + the new app password to download your profile on the Xbox 360.

    try to delete the content and re-download the item through the marketplace then try to start a NEW game and see if they appear, if that doesn't work try re-downloading your gamer profile and see if the information syncs

    Download problem!!!

    Alright. Try deleting the file and clearing the console cache then re-download the game. If that doesn't work it may be your profile. If the first doesn't work, try deleting your profile only (not profile and games) and then recover it.
