Downloading a corrupt update file? This has happened 5x

Gonzalo, This happens when the game checks the files and notices that there is a corrupted file. Then it downloads the entire game again, but in an optimized way.

Did this happen once, or does it happen with every game, every update?

I would recommend deleting the file from your HDD as its most likely corrupt, then try to re-download the game, monitor it and post an update to what happened here on this thread. Good luck!

This was told to me by one of the support staff that the console is trying to update and install the games at the same time. unplug the internet from the console down load game then let console after the download let the console update the file. What's
happening is the file/install is being corrupted by the update for the game. It worked for me try it? Let us know.

chances are, the DLC is designed not to be downloaded to a flashdrive to prevent you just taking it to an console and sharing that DLC.

Maybe the console formatted your thumbdrive, it has been known to happen and the nature of the DLC has corrupted the file structure on it
