Downloaded Xbox Game Pass games onto my external HDD and it says no available.

Hey, I downloaded Xbox Pass games on my HDD and they are located in D:\WindowsApps but when I try to open the game folder, it says the location is unavailable. I've downloaded the games off my main pc and connect the HDD to my laptop.

The apps from the Microsoft Store are encrypted, you will only be able to use the games on the system where the game was installed.

Also you can't launch it from explorer it MUST be thru the xbox app as it's encrypted

As far as i know you can, as mentioned above, use a USB 3 drive with the Xbox One. Im using one (3TB) as my main storage for games. When i moved the games i already had downloaded to the internal HDD onto the external drive, I got the options to either move
or copy my games.

So i would assume you could copy the games you want onto a HDD, then copy them back onto your other Xbox One.

Try move the game onto an external hdd and launch it from there if you have one i had same problem. Turns out my xbox hdd was failing.
