Most displays that do HDR are closer to 400nit. That’s a hardware, not a format limitation

It depends which HDR+ you are referring to:

- HDR+ (found on older models): My understanding is this is basically a fake HDR....the TV interprets and SDR signal and then extrapolates it to an HDR image. Basically, found on cheaper models;

- HDR10+ (found on newer models): This is, in essence, HDR but with some extra bits thrown in. The image is still the same quality, it just has extra. This article explains the differences between normal HDR10 and HDR10+:

Yes you should be able to play a video from a USB drive connected to your Xbox 360 console. But it also depends on the format of the video (the Xbox has to support that format). I would recommend trying it out and see if it works - the console may prompt
you to download a media update in order to play videos of that format.

Simply plug in the USB drive, press the Guide button, go to Video Player, then Portable Device, then to your video.

Nope, the system doesn't have an open format media player like the 360 did. MS is moving to a more closed format like almost everyone else and putting all their support for video and music into the Xbox Video and Music apps. No more streaming downloads
through the system.

Blu Rays are .mkv format.

I think what you really mean is can it play .avi video files you have downloaded.
