Downloaded Trials for games (Little Nightmares) won't run

I spent hours downloading a trial game and when pressing PLAY, it throws this message:

0x803f8001

Do you own this game or app?

If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft Store.

Well, no I don't have a disc. I just downloaded a trial and want to run it.

And yes I'm signed in.

This happened previously with another trial I downloaded as well.

Anyone have a solution?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try the following steps:

1. Remove your profile from the console

2. Power cycle/ reset your console

3. Add your profile and sign in.

It means that you can download it and play a trial of the game, but it won't be the full game that you own.
