Downloaded the Xbox Preview App and it will not register

Hey guys I downloaded the Xbox Preview app from my messages. There wasn't a code or anything in the message. It did allow me to download the app and launch. In the app under register it tells me that I need to move my console to a new group or remove from
program. I'm not sure what this means but it will be greatly appreciated if someone has an answer or solution to this problem. Oh almost forgot. I did receive this message on 7/03/2014 on xbox live.

Xbox one preview

I was accepted into the Xbox preview program but when i downloaded the app it said that this app is for xbox preview members only when i try to register my console.

I received my message from Xbox live and have downloaded the preview app. Upon activating my Xbox live account is registered but my console will not register. I can choose new Xbox experience or current experience, But the register selection cannot be
selected.

You have to wait for the code that comes on your console to be invited

This just lets Xbox know that you are interested in the beta

You had a friend invite you, right? Sorry it's a little unclear form your original message. If so, it takes a few days for you to be approved. But it sounds like you already were?

If that's the case you won't receive any updates until the preview for the September release becomes available which won't be for a few weeks. You won't be thrown into the middle of the preview for the August update.

I am also having problems with registering my console. The register button is greyed out and unreachable. My friend referred me a month ago, but I still can't register my console. I spoke with two Microsoft Assistants online via chat but they were not able
to help me. I still can't access the preview forums. Please help.

being invited is only the first step. You must then go through a selection/approval process. And not everyone that is invited is chosen to join. If you are chosen you will receive a message that allows you to enroll your console in the preview program. Until
then you will just have to be patient!

 

Microsoft sent me a code to download the preview app. So I have not been selected? Is that what you are saying? I have already waited one month. Do I still need to wait? Backwards compatibility will be out by then.

you didn't mention you had received a service message, in which case you will need to post in the Registration Support forum in order for the preview team to sort you out. Read below before you click!

Before that link works the main forum support team will - when they spot this message - verify you are in the preview program and grant you access to the preview areas of the forums. Once that is done the above link will work.

Please keep an eye on this thread as they will post here once they have updated your access.

 

Hi, i have been accepted for the preview program and have installed the chat but due to my brother who has already used his account on my console when he visited i can not register my console as it is registered to him. When he looks on his app, it only
shows his own console and not my console. So now niether of us are able to remove my console from being registered to his account and now i cant use the preview programe on my console
