Downloaded oblivion dlc $1.00. Spell tomes

It saying can't download spell tomes and I have 155gb of free space

Is this Fallout or Elder Scrolls???

To be fair, there were Spell Tomes in Oblivion as well, if you got the DLC

I am almost certain they will add some form of Spell-crafting in future DLC. It is too good not to include and make us pay for it. Just as Spell Tomes were a latter addition to Oblivion, Spell-Crafting leads itself to DLC for Skyrim. Nothing like making
Self-Destruction spells to level up Destruction Skill. Not to mention, it seems that there are still some spells missing from the last game. Where are the Absorb spells? These among others, seems to be missing. I like Reflect spells myself.

 

is there any error shown when you either try to purchase or download the items?

 

I'm having the same problems, can't download Spell Tomes or Mehrunes Razor. I can download the Wizard Tower fine, but the other two try to download and then it pops up saying "can't download (the name of the download)". I was thinking about buying some other
stuff...but I don't want to run into the same problem.

 

i am also having this issue. Cant download Spell Tomes, Mehrunes Razor or Thieves Den. I bought all the DLCs for Oblivion back when they were released, except for horse armor. All the others downloaded fine.

 

We have been trying to download the Vile Lair, Spell Tomes, Mehrunes Razor and
The Thieves Den the last 3 days (content is bought on my hubby's account, not mine). Last night we had a chat with live support about it. It was a hilariously unhelpful experience.

They made my hubby look up his purchase history, to make sure they were on there. Why they couldn't just look themselves I have no idea but apparently they preferred to have him look and then take his word for it. After that it became even more silly. My
hubby was told HE had to contact Bethesda Game Studios, because the downloads are provided from them and this was not a problem on XBox Lives end. Not sure what to think about that. How are we suppose to get a Bethesda provided fix on our XBox? Guess they
no longer frown upon their users finding their own solutions and modding content on their consoles (sarcasm). Or maybe they just meant to suggest that it's our job figure out why Bethesda are having broken downloads that are sold on the XBox Live marketplace.
But that doesn't much sense either. So no useful help from the live chat but I did get a good chuckle.

 

Got the same run-around and was told to contact Bethesda. Did some googling and found many who are reporting the same problem. Contacted Bethesda by e-mail but no response yet. I guess it's all part of the transition over to xBox one, which will mean less
support for all things 360.

 

I am really curious what the next step is suppose to be after we have contacted Bethesda. How are they suppose to help? If this content is broken why aren't they the ones contacting Bethesda. Aren't they on speaking terms? This is some really weird passing
of notes stuff they are having us do.

 

I was just able to download the Vile Lair (last time I tried was 2-3 days ago). Still can't download Spell Tomes, Mehrunes Razor or Thieves Den. But it's a 25% improvement, for me at least. Gives me hope the rest will be fixed soon too by whichever company
is suppose to be fixing it.

Also got a reply from Bethesda. They suggested trying deleting the cache. But I had already tried that. Due to account verification bugs that has been popping up every other month or so for a year, I am a cache deleting pro. Didn't fix anything for me but
if someone with this problem hasn't tried deleting their cache, it's worth a shot.

 

I've got the same Problem. I cannot download Spell tomes, Mehrunes Razor, or Thieves Den. I've cleared the Cache to no avail. No other recomended fixes for this problem in general has done anything.
