downloaded gears of war but it wont start . Lost connection to the host

Gears of War 3 System link issues

We have read most of the other threads related to this and tried the different fixes, all to no avail. We are able to link up and start a Horde game but after a few minutes of play, we get a "connection to the host has been lost" It doesn't matter who
hosts the party, whoever joins loses connection. We have tried clearing cache, using a router, hooking up direct with a cable, tried different consoles, different accounts, resetting network connections,etc. We don't have any issues with other games, just Gears
of War 3. Any other ideas?

 

"lost connection to host Gears of War 4"

I purchased a copy of Gears of War 4 yesterday. It took nearly 12 hours to download the "update". Today, when I started to play the game, I chose "slot 1" for Save Slot. All 5 slots show "empty slot." An error messages appears as follows:

ERROR

You have been returned to the main menu.

You have lost connection to the host.

I see there have been numerous posts with the same problem, but I cannot seem to find a solution.

Any ideas?

 

Hey there -

If you're being disconnected from Xbox Live, it sounds possible that that is a network issue. Have you tried unplugging your home network and waiting a couple minutes before hooking it all back up? If not, try that first and let us know how that goes.
