Downloaded games from 360 to ONE question.

Recently I downloaded Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Full price and GTA:V for the good deal. A question has come to mind that I would liked answered.

As soon as I get my income tax and expenses are covered, I am getting a Xbox ONE. Since CoD:AW and GTA:V is also on ONE and I got them from Xbox Live, do I have to re-pay for them on the ONE? Or will the license transfer to the ONE?

I was robbed and lost my console 360, i had the digital GTA game, Can i get it again in my new console Xbox One?

Since none of the GTA games are backwards compatible, you would have to purchase the One version in order to play on the One.

If you buy a digital copy of AW for 360 before March, you can grab a copy of it on XB1 at no additional charge. I don't know if this is the case with GTAV.

If you still have an Xbox 360 you can buy them from there with Xbox credit, if you are on one you should have a prepaid card. But the more games 360 are accepted by buying them on one, maybe some do not. Try to download on the
webpage The games in question by buying them from there

By removing any games, do you mean just disc-based games that are in the 360's tray or games I've downloaded from Xbox Live before the problem?

From what I understand, the Xbox One isn't really reading game data from the disc. I *think* this is how it works:

1. Insert 360 game disc of game that is confirmed to be compatible.

2. Xbox One reads the title of the game, then queues a free *download* of their compatible version.

3. When you play the game, the Xbox One is reading data from the version downloaded to your hard drive, not from the physical disc.
