Discus and support Downloaded game won't start. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Sunday night I bought GTA San Andreas for my 360 through the Games Store.     Ok, this is an Xbox Original game and requires an official Xbox 360 hard drive in order for it to play. Do you have an official 360 hard drive or are you using a third party drive or usb?

    I'm pretty sure it is a compatible hard drive. In storage it has the microsoft logo next to it.

    It has to be completely official. If it was purchased brand new from a retailer then there shouldn't be an official. If you purchased it separately from somewhere like ebay or used from somewhere, then it's highly likely it's a knock off and won't work with
    original Xbox games.

    Hi Milkshake, your Xbox won't turn itself on and start downloading automatically, but the next time you manually turn it on it will automatically start downloading the game.

    Can you please try deleting the game from your console carry out a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds, once the console has powered down unplug it from the wall outlet for 5 minutes then plug everything back
    in and then try to download the game.
