Downloaded game won't load and crashes back to home screen

I just spent 10 hours downloading the digital version of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and when I try to launch the game it will start for a couple seconds and then kick me back to the home screen. I can't get the game to play at all. I've restarted the xbox,
switched my timezone, went offline, removed and re-added my profile, and nothing has worked so far. Not sure if it has anything to do with the current xbox status issues, but it is really frustrating. I'm currently reinstalling the game, and I really hope
that works. Any other suggestions or anyone else having the same problem?

XBOX One S Crashed to Home Screen Constantly

My XBOX One S continuously crashes back to the Home screen. I have tried multiple resets, including multiple hard resets. I have also made sure all updates were complete and that my game had installed. However, when I go to launch the game it almost always
crashes right back to the home screen after a couple seconds. Every once in a while the game will load and then after a couple minutes it crashes back to the home screen. It is unplayable. Any suggestions? Because right now I am thinking the XBOX One is a
hunk of junk.

 

Xbox One S crashes during loading of any game

Just bought the Xbox One S madden 18 bundle a few months ago (new), I usually only play fortnite & madden 18. Over the past few weeks, every once in awhile the game I would be playing would just crash unexpectedly (black screen) and send me back to the Xbox
Home screen. Now, I can't load any game (Fortnite & Madden). When I try and load the game, the game nearly finishes the initial load screen, then crashes back to the Xbox Home. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games... didn't work. My WiFi is also
functioning fine.

Any ideas?

If re installing the game does not help with your problem can you please try following the troubleshooting guide to see if it offers any suggestions you have not already tried.

We have had some xbox live service issues around this time of the moth of sept. A lot of people had issues actually downloading but if you were able to during this time the file might be corrupt. Our ambassador offers good advice to delete and reinstall
But try a couple of these steps first before you commit to reinstalling during a service alert
