Downloaded game will not play on other profiles

Hi,

Please excuse my terminology, I'm not xbox savvy! I purchased the new series x recently from my sons. We transfer everything across from their old xbox one. All the games woek dine on the various profiles, excluding one. Which, i purchased on my account
on the old xbox one. They can okay the game via my profile on the new xbox, but cant play it on theirs. Its says tgey have to purchase it. I want them to play on their profiles, as they have saved games.

How can i fix this?

My DLC wont work offline or on other profiles.

It's the way licensing works. When you download content it is tied to the gamertag it was purchased on as well as the console it was purchased on. The console license is what allows your kids to be able to play the game while they are on that console that
you purchased the game on. Your profile is the only profile that will be able to redownload and play the content on any other console as long as you are signed into Live.

So since I've got 2 accounts, only my dlc profile is aloud to play the downloadable games without getting into trouble or can my new profile play it at the same time too? Dlc profile on one system and new profile on my other playing the same game I downloaded
on the dlc profile.
