downloaded game stuck in queue wont start cant delete

Tried to download battlefield 4 free with gold and it wouldn't finish hung with very little left so I turned off console. Now the game is in queue and a big X comes on when trying to play. Pushed menu to delete and no function for delete only go to store
for details and help. Tried to download again from gold and says already downloaded. Go to my games and not there. Wont play, cant delete and cant download again...now what?

Do we have an ETA on the Microsoft XBOX store for downloading content/updates?

Looks like some of the games finally updated but still got 6 stuck in the queue that wont move.

 

Xbox Digital games stuck on queue

I have all my games digital but the past week I cannot download/install anything. I preordered the Halo5 and today Star Wars beta and GWG Valliant Hearts. All are stuck on queue and after a while it will say installing then quickly changes back to queue and a failed installation message pops up.
I have a 1TB external hard drive with 56% left. I removed the hard drive and nothing would install on the internal drive either. I deleted the games and reselected them to install.
I did 3 hard restarts on the xbox one. I'm at a loss here

 

Hi Scuba! Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it for 1 minute then plug it back in and power back on. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

 

Thanks Max but no luck with your suggestion, tried 2x. Maybe related to the large update? When I tic go to store it shows above the "free with gold" logo "this product is installed" When I tic to play a large white fame box with an X in it shows on a black
screen. Let it sit then times out and jumps back to home screen.

 

Hey maybe try to reset your console to factory defaults using the "Keep my games and apps" option see if that helps.

I'm a bit apprehensive to try that Darren. I do have to leave now and may try that as a last resort if I don't get another option that works. If I try I may put my games on a flash drive 1st....thanks.

 

Hey you can choose the option to "keep games and Apps"

 

Okay I reset and saved games and apps. Now there is nothing in queue, there was 3 other things along with B4 China Rising, but the game didn't show up in my games and when I go to download it again it still says it's installed and when I tic that little
blue box the screen changes to AE Access subscribe app for $4.99 a month. Does this mean I need this app before I can play that game? If so I am not going to subscribe to bait and switch. I will not renew my gold. There are very few games above teen level
free with gold anyway and the backward compatibility hasn't caught up with the many popular war games I bought with the original xbox 360.

 

You do not need EA Access to play Battlefield or it's DLC.

Have you checked your ready to install tab?

 

Yes Luciano I have looked everywhere. I really didn't think you needed AE access to play any Xbox game but it is strange the screen jumps to that AE sign up app. I think the last resort is to backup all games and apps and reset everything or just forget
it and maybe someday there will be a bug fix for this and it shows up. I had it 99% downloaded before it hung and I left it run for an hour before I shut off to go to bed....thanks to all for help.

 

If you do a factory reset and choose to keep all it will not delete anything off your console. Everything will be right where u left it. Also if you downloaded Battlefield 4 from the vault in EA Access then u do need to be a member to pay those games as
long as your an EA access member. If you didn't buy the game through EA Access and bought it on the actual Xbox store or have the physical disc then u don't need to be a EA Access member. Hope this helps
