    Downloaded Game Says It Needs Disk


    I downloaded Halo 5:Guardians for free off of the Xbox Store and I played it for about a day. Then when I went back to play it again it came up the message "Do you own this game or app?". It said that I either needed a disk or to be logged in to Xbox Live
    which I was. I obviously didn't need or have the disk because I downloaded it. I have restarted the Xbox One multiple times. Please help.

    Downloaded lord of the rings conquest but when i play it says ' disk unreadble'....its downloaded!!

    Downloaded lord of the rings conquest but when i play it says ' disk unreadble'....its downloaded!! any advice? its a downloaded game and took 5 hours to download and you dont need a disk to play so im lost at what to do

    unfortunately internet is needed for most gaming stations......unless you own the disk there is no way to download games without internet so I would say YES you need internet
