Downloaded game says disk is unreadable

i can't play Sniper Elite III. Just bought the digital copy of the game and everytime I go to play it says "disk unreadable". All the advice has been centered around having an actual disk but I dont. I tried deleting and redowkoadong it and it didn't work.
How can I fix this?

Downloaded game says disk is unreadable

So I downloaded skyrim for my Xbox a while back and was able to play it fine until today I tried to go on but when I tried loading it said disk is unreadble, so I redownloaded it and the same thing happened. After that I started a new skyrim game and it
worked right until I could chose my charector please help me with the problem. Also when I press ok it send me back to the home

Sorry to hear about the download issues! I understand that you are having trouble playing some downloadable content. Let's go through some basic troubleshooting steps so that we can get you up and running again. Can you make sure that when you download Sniper
Elite again that you follow these steps in order:

Delete the old content.

Clear your system cache, if you don't know how to clear your cache there is information how to do that on the How-to clear cache page.

Restart your console after you've cleared your cache.

Download from your purchase history!

After you've tried that, report back here with your status.

Wait, in your tags, it says "Unreadable disk". If the 360 gives an unreadable disk error, it means just that, it can't read the disk.

If you play an xbox game that is NOT backwards compatible, it will FLAT OUT SAY "THIS ORIGINAL XBOX GAME IS NOT COMPATIBLE". Not "this disk cannot be read".

Try cleaning the disk. Are there any scratches on it?

I deleted my halo 4 data but it still won't download and says the disk is unreadable.

good for you .. even if you purchase this "game on demand" and download the 7gb the game says that your "disk is unreadable" ... so better dont buy this crap

i have battlefield 3 and when i put in the disk it would say unreadable disk and sometimes it would say play disk, and when i played the disk it would say "disk is unreadable" can somebody HELP
