    Downloaded game on PC, cannot play on Console


    Hi there,

    I downloaded a game via my Xbox account on my PC, but I cannot play it on my Xbox One. It is an expansion to a game that I own on the Xbox One (Shadow of War expansion). I downloaded it on my PC because I cannot pay for it via the console - it only accepts
    payments from American credit cards. I paid for the expansion on my PC - how can I play it on my Xbox?

    It does show up in my payment history on my console, but it won't show up in my games list. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello Gabe,

    Expansions will show up VIA your games and apps click view game in store then click show add ons, find the add on you're looking for and it should just say "read to install."

    If pc you must sign in to download the games then she can use it on her own profile by signing into the xbox app after to play but she cannot download the games

    Home console is only an console feature

    Now concerning tablets or mobiles you would have to sign into xbox app as xcloud is subscriber only feature

    Ea play games on pc with xbox cloud streaming

    i took it as he wants to play the game on pc via gamepass ultimate not stream it. yes to streaming from console to pc but whats the point of that when he has a console to play it on and it would run like trash streaming.

    the game is not available on pc therefore cannot download it via gamepass ultimate from ea desktop app either.

    that cannot be done, also there are very few play anywhere titles available. all games for the console must be downloaded on the console.

    if you have any play anywhere titles like forza 4 or gear 5 on your windows 10 pc from the windows store then you can download these on the console as long as you are using the same account.

    all other pc games are not compatable and would need to be downloaded from the console store or bought if you don't own them on console already.

    Many games are only specifically released as Xbox One versions and can only be downloaded on your console. Unless they are marked as "Play Anywhere" titles, you cannot redownload these onto a PC.
