    Downloaded game not starting.


    Every time I start up Battlefield 4 it would ask me if I owned the game. The store still shows that I did not buy it. I tried to uninstall the game but now I can't get it again without buying it again.

    games crash to home

    I have tried restarting the console, changing discs, ejecting and reinserting a disc, starting different downloaded games, starting other apps, using other apps.

    Newly Downloaded Games Crash Upon Starting

    UPDATE: The problem has now leaked over to other games as well. Previously installed games such as Battlefield 4, Forza Motorsport 5, Peggle 2, Titanfall, and FIFA 15. At this point, only three of my ten games work- Destiny, Madden 15, and Minecraft: Xbox
    One Edition.

    Hi, did you purchase the game on the store using an Xbox One that is or was using the preview system update ? If you are now trying to play the game on an Xbox that is not using the preview software that would explain why you're having this issue.

    Games/apps etc purchased on an Xbox that is using the preview software are only available on an Xbox that is using the preview software. Your options are to enrol back into the preview or wait until the latest system update is released to everyone before
    you will be able to play the game.

    I bought the game from the xbox. There was a sale for BF 4 and BF Hardline and now only Hardline works.

    Hi fluxx R, have you tried to clear your cahce in your xbox settings? also try giving xbox customer support a call on 1-800-4MY-XBOX aswell as getting help in the forums they will be able to check your account and the game and see if there is something wrong
    with the game itself (as in there may be a bug in there) I do hope this helps you!

    Using a USB stick wouldn't work I'm afraid. Original Xbox games must be played using a genuine Microsoft hard drive.

    I bought the game from the xbox. There was a sale for BF 4 and BF Hardline and now only Hardline works.

    The error you are seeing can be associated with having a none genuine Microsoft certified hard drive, so if you do indeed have a hard drive on the console are you sure it is the genuine article. Third party hard drives do not have the required files etc
    to play original Xbox games. There is no way to add these files either.
