Downloaded game issue

Nothing you have on your drive will be affecting that game.

I would look online to see if anyone else has had the issue, and a possible fix.

My version was on a disc, i had no problems.

Alrighty, I looked around and found this:

As you can see, one of the issues listed as being fixed by this particular patch matches my issue. The problem is, either I've downloaded this patch and it has done nothing (I know that I downloaded some kind of update) or for some reason I have never been
prompted to download it. Now, I've played a few games of online multiplayer in Crysis 2, and I know that for most games you can't play online without downloading the available updates. So, the latter seems unlikely. Maybe I should try deleting the patch and
re-downloading it? I already did that once and afterwards, the audio seemed to be okay for about 45 minutes of gameplay.

Okay, so I deleted the update and then re-downloaded it, and the soundtrack skipping issue is just as prevalent as ever. I must assume that the update simply doesn't work. Maybe it isn't compatible with the digital version of Crysis 2? I mean, they'd have
to make the update awfully lousy, but this is EA we're talking about. How can I fix this, if at all?

If your console audio output is set to 5.1... try changing it to digital stereo. =)

That seemed to fix it. I think I noticed one or two skips at one place, but the soundtrack was pretty smooth for the most part after I switched to digital stereo. Thanks Argontheos!

Hi both your region and location must be the same to access certain content and validate downloads or play restricted games etc.

If your location and region are not the same you can amend by following these steps:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

Please note disc based games must be compatible with your consoles region.

What steps did you try with Support? Letting us know what you've already done would be helpful for us.

For now, even if you've already tried to do so, cancel all your pending and paused downloads completely, then power cycle the console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console)
and see if that allows you to install any of the games from your Ready to Install list.

Did you flag it? I'm guessing it won't be up long. Mods are on a break. I was signed into my old email so I just posted and deleted with the old GT tied to that by accident. So now it's doubly flagged. Heh.
