I purchased additional multiplayer maps and downloaded them to my hard drive. Why can't I access the maps when I am offline?

map pack collection 4

I have bought and downloaded the collection 4 map pack, but cant play them on line. Says not available in normal playlists. How do I play them on line?

For Xbox 360 content, you have to be online to access DRM content. The game has to be able to tell that you actually own it to use it, meaning you have to be online. This happens with games too, you can't launch a downloadable game, if it has DRM and you
are offline on Xbox 360.

You should be able to use this content offline on Xbox 360, though you need to make sure you're using the console on which the DLC was purchased. DLC is tied to the Serial Number of your Xbox 360 console. On Xbox One, it's tied to your Account.

So if for example you purchased DLC on your profile on another Xbox 360 console, you'll need to transfer the DRM rights to the new console.

Digital Rights Management on Xbox 360.

It would be a good idea as some content like Arcade titles need them to be played off-line.

You sure Zen? I thought that as long as he downloads his profile to the temporary console he's going to be using away from home and as long as he is signed into xbox live at the time, that he could access and use his downloaded content on the other console
even though it's still licensed to his console at home. All he would need is his hard drive or he could re-download the items to the temporary console while signed in under his profile. I know this HAS worked for me with other arcade games, but admittedly
I have NOT tried it with a map pack. However, all licensed content is supposed to be available to the profile that bought it on any console that profile is ACTIVELY logged onto, but only available off-line on the specific console it's licensed to.
