Downloadable Title Availibility

Not all games that are provided on the store are accessible and provided on all regions. Can this please be fixed.

I am on the South African region and have had Games with gold for some time now and have also purchased quite a few titles through the web browser store.

Some titles that are not available for download which I do own on my account are:

• Guacamelee: Super Turbo Champoinship Edition (XBox One)
• Strike Suit Zero: Director Cut (XBox One)

Other game availibity that I have seen that there are problems with are:

• The Walking Dead: Episode 2: Starved for help

This is supposed to currently be free with the Games with Gold Promotion.

If you look on the US page, all Episodes are available, But if you look on the ZA page episode 2 is not available.

Could this please be corrected as soon as possible.

Wouldn't format the hard drive delete all games on it as well as my profile?

 

Downloadable titles?

DLC is licensed to both the gamertag and the console it was first downloaded to. This means that any gamertag can access the DLC on that console without needing you to be logged in.

If you are going to sell your console, ensure that the profile is completely erased. It would probably be a good idea to format the hard drive itself just to be sure.

 

There's nothing to correct. Availability depends on region due to laws, culture and/or licensing. If it's not available in your region, there's a 'good' reason for that.

 

Also, it would be something you would have to contact the publisher's about.

 

I'm of course aware of the fact that probably publishing and other restrictions might apply, but in South Africa there aren't many restrictions.

All restrictions applying to the UK apply to SA (ZA) region.

The other thing that you are not taking into account with the replies thus far is, how is it that Episodes 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the Walking dead are available for download in the ZA region, yet Episode 2 is not.

This is most definitely an issue that needs to be corrected by Microsoft as obviously since they have made it available on Games With Gold as free they should have the full package available as promised.

I would like to extend a thanks to @MisterBeep for the assistance as well as the Microsoft, Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Xbox Store teams for having corrected the issue with the games with gold walking dead downloads. I have found that the content is now
available for purchase and download on the xbox 360.

In regards to the other games mentioned i will have to confirm at a alter stage.

Just some further feedback as stated in my previous post. I did go and have a look again to see if Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition (XBox One) and Strike Suit Zero: Director Cut (XBox One) were available for download after the walking dead issues
were resolved and still have not been able to download the games.

I would like to know if there are any restrictions on the mentioned games on XBOX One as I have found them to be available over steam and other digital download platforms within the ZA region.
