Downloadable game Issue

When it was available for free, I downloaded "Halo: Spartan ****" for xbox one. The game was ok. I only played a few times as my Xbox was new and I had a few other games to play and get used to. Natrually, I was away from the game for ......
Maybe a little more than a month. I downloaded a few other games with gold too. The family fave is Guacamelee (So Far). Anyway my issue is that when I went to revisit Halo Spartan **** I was greeted wih an error message that basically stated I needed the disc
or to purchase the game from the store.... WTH? I game i already had achievements for? I am the owner of this console and I downladed the game myself. Why is it that I cannot go back and Redownload the game. I see it now for the reduced price of a few bucks.
Tempting, because I like the game. But can anyone tell me what happend? Has this happened to any of you? How can I fix this issue or, am i basically ***? Please help.

X-Box One Enquiry

Xbox One disc games are region free. There are some restrictions on downloadable games, but this should only be an issue if you move around a lot.

As it was a Game with Gold, you need to be using the account that downloaded it and it needs to have a valid Gold subscription, both of which seem to be the case? If not, that would be needed for it to work.

However, if indeed both those things are already the case, could you try deleting and re-downloading the game? I'm not sure what would be wrong, but that should fix it. It's not too big a game so this should not take too long.

I understood, but the time lapse between the region change doesn't have finished yet. What can i do?

Hi both your region and location must be the same to access certain content and validate downloads or play restricted games etc.

If your location and region are not the same you can amend by following these steps:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

Please note disc based games must be compatible with your consoles region.

What steps did you try with Support? Letting us know what you've already done would be helpful for us.

For now, even if you've already tried to do so, cancel all your pending and paused downloads completely, then power cycle the console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console)
and see if that allows you to install any of the games from your Ready to Install list.

Did you flag it? I'm guessing it won't be up long. Mods are on a break. I was signed into my old email so I just posted and deleted with the old GT tied to that by accident. So now it's doubly flagged. Heh.
