downloadable content in other regions

Hi

i recently paid for some dlc for my friend in another region, he cannot redeem the code for the dlc as he is in another region, i have been told to contact microsoft for it, but the online bot agent thing had no idea what i was talking about and i couldn't
find anywhere else to contact somebody from microsoft so this is the best option i could find.

if we could find a way of redeeming the code that would be great.

hello, sorry i tried all of those links but the option to get a refund for it is greyed out. even thought i only purchased it i think it was 5 days ago.

the last link didn't have anything to help with the issue that i am having

Unfortunately if you purchase digital content it can only be gifted to someone in the same region/country. This includes DLC. You can follow the steps in the "Recipient can't redeem code" section on the game gifting help page.

i followed the link and followed the steps, but it does not give me an option to claim the refund. i know he has not redeemed the code because it would not let him.

it just took me to a page of the things i have recently bought, but doesn't give me any options to refund the dlc.

Is your account set for the UK as well? If you're account region is set to the US, but you live in the UK, you will have issues downloading region locked content. Not all content is region locked which is why you would have no issues downloading some content
but not others.
