    Downloadable content changes makes saves unreadable


    I recently played dead space on my new console, then switched to my old console. And found sadly that re downloading or any changes to downloadable content or console switching immediately prohibits playing from a saved file. Tried multiple tests and could
    repo it on the same console.

    Halo 4 problems before and after current update

    Having constant problems with Halo 4 and even more since the update tonight. Game saves disappearing, won't recognise downloadable content, won't save loadouts, changes to local network instead of xbox live or won't save armour. And now since the update
    it says I don't have the required downloadable content for the campaign? Or required maps for matchmaking. Or that playlists are unavailable. This has been the only game I've had this much problem with and it's really frustrating!!

    CHANGE SETTINGS TO ALLOW PURCHASES

    Try changing your setting to another option and save it. The change it back to allow download content. This workked for me

    go to settings>system>storage>change where new content is saved change drive and save. Go back to the store or app and see if it's now downloaded to the new drive

    There is a known issue with the GoD version of Forza Horizon where it only works on the console that initially downloaded it - when put on another console it reads as an unreadable disc, even when the purchasing profile is logged in. This has been an issue
    since the game came out and while they are working on a fix, none has been posted yet. The only thing that might work is trying a license transfer to the new/replacement console.

    Hello, it's not possible to change the region on an XBOX Live account. You will need to make a new account with your desired region.

    Yes, this would mean you would lose that gamertag, and the achievements, save files, and all downloadable content. But, continuing to use that gamertag (with the incorrect region) you'd be running into problems with DLC, and ability to pay for content and renewing
    gold subscriptions etc.
