Download update.

I only have so much data to use a month, this morning when I tried to go online with my Xbox One it said that I had a 4.1 gb update, so I downloaded it, playing online afterwards. Then this afternoon I tried to go online and it says that I have a 4.1 gb
update before I can go online. What I want to know is, is this another update, or is something wrong with my xbox and it's not recognizing my update now! Part of me hopes for the latter, because I'm getting sick and tired of all these updates that I keep getting,
and besides Cortana I haven't noticed a *** thing different on my Xbox. You people have made it rediculous to own a gaming console to just play video games, and thanks to your brilliant example game developers don't even feel the need to finish games before
they come out, they'll just release an update, I don't know when the last time i saw a game released that didn't need an update on it's release day, but I digress please let me know if the fault of this recent problem is my Xbox One. Thank You.

its not 100% but your not downloading games if your on disk... your installing and its in no way 2 hours... if your talking about a game with massive updates(neverwinter) maybe 2 hours to download and install every update since launch...

 

I have question regarding digital and physical copies of games.

Its going to install the game off the Disc, and download any updates fromt he servers.

Earlier games had a problem where the install time would take forever because it would download the Disc and the updates at the same time, but now they ask you if you want to download the updates while installing.

 

Hi can you please confirm if you are in the preview program? because from what you say above it sounds like you may be.

 

I was and asked to be removed, after getting all these downloads.

hello i recently was asked to download the 4.1 update it didnt fully download it got to 88 per cent and said error so i trried again to download the update and the screen just went blank!!!!!!!!!!????? now every time i turn xbox on i get a blank screen????????????

You might have downloaded one update right before another was pushed out. There are periods when updates are pushed out daily so you may have had the unfortunate timing to have completed one right before another was pushed out for users.
