Download speeds are terrible

My download speeds are below 1mbps when wireless and even slower wired. I’ve reset my router which I know isn’t the problem. It’s a first gen Xbox one. My Xbox will run at over 200mbps when I look at speed and statistics but will take a day to download an update that comes out every other day. Is it something with the age of my Xbox or is there something I can do.
