Download speed Pease Help?

I get over 20 mbps download speed on all my devices, (desktop pc, laptops, tablets) except for my xbox 360, I only get roughly 4 mbps. My router i s a wrt54g2 v1.5, do they have certain restrictions I need to override in the set up. This
makes it difficult to stream many HD shows, which is the main reason I pay for high speed internet. I contacted xbox support and they said that this was a common problem and I needed to contact my ISP for them to make some changes. I am requesting the following
changes be made to allow faster download to my xbox 360:

·Trigger the ports (53, 80, 88 and 3074).

·Disable Port Range Forwarding.

· Disable DMZ.

· Enable UPnP (if this feature is available to you)

Set your MTU size to 1364 to avoid any issues with lagging.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Season Pass FAILURE !!

I purchased the SEASON PASSs on my computer and it WILL NOT DOWNLOAD TO my Xbox console......now I'm out $50 bucks !!! PEASE HELP !!!!! It just sits there, in my Download Queue !

You can do all that yourself in your router settings through a desktop browser. Your ISP will probably tell you that doing so (adjusting default router settings) will breach the terms of service and they won't provide further support if you do it. There
are details on how to do everything you listed on the Xbox Support pages, and others sites too if you Google/Bing it.

I'd hyper-link the pages but I'm using the 360 browser so it's too much hassle. My bad. (>_<)

There are videos explaining the Netgear routers and how to set then up for xbox on Youtube.I dont know if all these things you listed are necessary.You dont want to make too many drastic changes to your router because you could really mess things up.

Hi there,

please try restarting the console fully to see if that helps.

Also try removing, resstarting and redownloading your profile.

If this is on a 360 console, make sure your password isn't to long and check if two step verification is enabled, if it is enabled you will have to set up a app password.

As mentioned above, Try a wired connection to help with the download speeds, If that does not help and you are still experiencing slow download speeds your Internet Service Provider could be throttling your speeds for high bandwidth downloads
