Download speed limited and the game got erased

I am here again to check up on you. I feel like you still need help with your concern, and I would love to give you additional information/troubleshooting for this issue and also, we have additional questions:

1. May we ask if you have tried all the tips we provided, and the issue still persist with downloading?
   
2. May we ask what is your current Xbox Network NAT Type? Is there an error message with your Xbox Network?
   
3. May we ask what is the offered speed (based of your plan) by your Internet Service Provider? Was this upgraded?
   

Based on my additional research and consultations from other technical experts, we have gathered the following results. Please try to follow the troubleshooting steps below.

May we know if you have tried using other internet connection to continue downloading? You may try mobile hotspot.

For this line, "once I switch the download destination for the next game I want to play, the other game just disappear and cannot play it again." May we know more details about this? How many games are there on specific folder you once used as storage of games? Was the drive removable? Are there other games installed to the same drive outside the folder you have used as storage of games?

Please provide more details. We look forward for your reply.

We understand that you are trying to download games on your PC and is having issues with the download speed. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

Based on your description, Forza takes times to be downloaded. There are few things we can check with the download speed: Is this caused by connecting to an internet connection with a lot of users around the area? Or you are trying to download heavy files during peak hours of all users using same internet connection or service? Or the connection is metered? Is this caused by bandwidth being limit? Is this caused by the internet connection being interfered by the walls, devices and appliances?

Here are some points that by experience worked for me and especially if I'm on a different location when I'm trying to connect to the internet:

1. Test out your internet speed and check if you are getting the same speed that you have paid for. your internet plan/subscription from the Internet Service Provider (ISP).
   
2. When you try to download the game, is it during peak time of the day where there are a lot of users using the network that you are connected to? If not, try to disable all devices connected to your network and see if it will speed up the download.
   
3. Make sure the computer does not have any third-party apps similar to antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer that may hinder the speed of your downloads.
   
4. Kindly set the bandwidth limits for the background downloads. Then, ensure that there are no other apps running in the background of your Windows device. Please see this support link: Set bandwidth limits for background downloads - Microsoft Support
   
5. Maximize your internet speed by connecting your computer to an ethernet cable. This way you will get a stable connection.
   
6. Is your network metered? Determine how to maximize your network usage by checking this link: Metered connections in Windows - Microsoft Support
   
7. Kindly try the suggestions available here and see if you can change your DNS. The hindrance around you can be managed however if it is beyond your eyesight (like how internet flows and being distributed) is something your Internet Service Provider (ISP) can address. Overall, it is best to ask the Internet Service Provider (ISP) where to set up/position the devices for best and fast network connection. The key here is that there should be no interference of any kind (apps/software, physical objects, or devices) that may redirect your connection or contain it. If upgrade is a must for your internet plan, please check your options with the Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. That didnt help at all unfortunately. I even changed internet connections by connecting to a 2.4ghz hotspot off my phones mobile data connection and got the same result. Download speed is still 0.01Mbps.

Do you know if this download speed limits my ability to play multiplayer games?

Microsoft regularly limits download speeds to limit the possibility of overloading its servers.
