    Download speed issues...

I have a 1gb connection, wired to my Xbox x and I usually get 200-400mbps download. Lately I have only been getting 70mbps and lower, doesn't matter what time I try, morning, day, middle of the night. What is going on? With the size of current gen games, this speed is obnoxiously slow. Why the sudden change? I have tried all the usual "fixes" with no results.

    :)

its what Eric said. its based on the connection of console to the network. it also is based on your connection speed and what is connected to it. I know mine can jump between 30 and 120 depending on how many are connected to my network.

    Hey there Mr,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Now when it comes to downloads it is going based off of the connection between the console and your network. Now although the download speeds are not too slow, you can always take a look at our support page
    to help
Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads on Xbox One
    .

If you continue to run into problems you can also take a look at
    Port Forwarding
    your console.

Give this a try and let us know of any changes.

    Hello,

I have tried all the steps of factory reset, soft reset, removing and adding account on the xbox, unplug power supply, clear MAC address, and etc..but nothing seems to work. All other devices on my network are getting around 500mbs that are wired and 400mbs
wireless, but when i run a speed test in the setting on my xbox , I only get around 160mbs. I thought maybe it was ethernet cable so plug it into other devices and ran speed test and its getting around 500mbs so it not the cable. I connect my xbox to wifi,
ran a test , and it still gets around 160mbs, but running a test on other devices on wifi, I'm getting around 400mbs. What gets me is if I open up the default internet browser on the xbox and go to speediest.net, i get around 500mbs on that test. I cannot
figure out what the issue is and need some help.

    Please and Thank You.

It could be your downloading multiple games/updates causing this issue or it is your Internet Service Provider.
