Download speed help and what is port 55816

Sorry to hear you are having download speeds. What speeds did you get before replacing it? Have you made sure all the ports required for Xbox are open? I have listed them below.

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

What is it showing as your NAT setting? Anything other than open is going to slow you down and even then I would still forward ports this should help with packet loss at least but should speed things up

Other tips is when requested to download update choose to do it later, also set the Xbox to instant on mode it should download then even with the Xbox off

Maybe it can be a DNS or Port issue, maybe Xbox just can't use that much of a bandwidth.

Or maybe Xbox is using all that bandwidth but only its connection testing is not good enough. I already did speed tests showing a 100Mbs Internet speed but after 5 minutes I was downloading something using multiple connections at a 350Mbps speed, so sometimes speed testing is not so reliable.

But please test changing both DNS and ports and let me know what it brings

You mean Download.speeds ? Your 1gigabit per second isn't download speed and it's divided when you use multiple devices

1gigabit is 125,mbps in actual speed

Because when you download they count in bytes not bits

Or just a speedtest.net test

If so.then set xbox DMZ

And open these ports

These ports must be open to connect to the Xbox network:

uPnP port? How would I disable that? And my internet is fine, wired connection ping is usually 25-35 and Download Speed usually over 50 ;D

So what's a UPnP?
