Download Speed for Xbox One

So Ill start off by saving the time of the standard things.

I've restarted the my gen 1 Xbox one console, even a hard reset to the level of power unplug. My router is a gaming router and has the Xbox one as a priority for bandwidth. Running a speed test on the laptop is over 500MB as it should be. The desktop runs
over 500MB as well. The PS4 even gets 100MB-->200MB. Even the Switch can download at a normal speed. My Xbox use to download over 100MB consistently. I know to Quit out of any active apps and turn off the background applications.

Why when I run a network speed test on the Xbox one now a days it can recognize about 300MB but the games loading screens take 10min. When I download an update my download speed moves anywhere from 10KB (YES THAT'S A K) to 15MB. I use to get download speeds
over 100MB. I could download a digital game in about 15min now they take HOURS if not days. I've tried changing the IP, DNS, switched from IPv4 to IPv6,Wired to wireless and vice versa. If a new console wasn't coming out at the end of the year I would buy
an Xbox one X.

I've looked up a bunch of the "double your Xbox one download speed" videos and they don't work.

In short my Gen 1 Xbox one downloads at the speed of a snail. How can this issue be resolved to restore the download speeds? I've seen this as a consistent complaint lately. Is it possible the hardware has reached the end of its life? If so would this be
similar to the Red Rings of xbox360? Even if it is going to be a common problem we need a solution.
