    does anyone know the reason why Microsoft do not permit users to download purchased movies to their xbox one console. I have a 30 mb per second fibre optic broadband connection but even still I have problems where a hd movie will briefly lose picture quality
    and show at a low resolution for a few seconds then return to hd. this happens several times during a film and is quite annoying.why can't the film be downloaded and stored on my console or external hard drive. I can download to my windows phone my desktop
    pc but not my console. I seem to remember this option was available on xbox 360 but not xbox one. if I purchase a hd movie I want the picture to be perfect and at the moment its not. I prefer purchasing from the store because I get a version on my xbox and
    my phone but I feel if this persists I will go back to buying bluray discs where the picture quality is consistent.

    Hello, How do I download a movie from Xbox Video on Xbox One instead of streaming it after purchase? I don't see any option to do so... I seek to download it like I can on 360. Thanks

    Very interested to see what happens with this. I only purchased one title at $9.99 but am now going to revert to purchasing discs at GameStop instead of downloading titles from Xbox Store.

    Amazon instant video

    Amazon Instant Video shows any films purchased through Amazon and any Amazon Prime content.

    Xbox doesn't have a Prime App, rather Xbox Video which only shows films and shows purchased through Xbox Store.

    If films/shows purchased from Amazon aren't showing in Amazon Instant Video app you will need to contact Amazon Customer Support to verify your purchases.

    Remember, Amazon Prime content changes so they remove films/shows periodically and add new ones. Amazon Instant Video purchases remain all the time.

    I think Microsoft makes this super confusing, as I've seen the question asked a few times.

    Basically, Microsoft Store cards and Xbox Store cards are one in the same thing. Purchasing either just puts the credit on your Microsoft account that can be used to purchase anything linked to your Microsoft account. Films, games, merchandise, hardware
    etc.

    I've purchased films using left over credit from a game purchase (xbox gift card) just today!

    Are you trying to download the DLC in-game or are you buying it from the Xbox store? If it's in-game, try purchasing it from the store instead to see if there's a change.
