Download on Windows PC, play on Xbox one?

Hi Guys,

I have an interesting question to ask.

I game on Xbox one at my home, but my broadband connection isn't good. Its speed is very slow (4 Mbps) for downloading gigantic games (like Halo 5 - 91 GB) which take days-weeks, also the console has to be kept on 24x7.

So, is there a way download these games on Windows PC, move it somehow and play on Xbox one? I have very fast (100 Mbps without any restrictions) at my office which i can use to do it.

Am i right to Think that it comes with 2 codes one for Windows amd one for XB1?

If you purchase directly from either the Windows store or Xbox store, the game will then just be available to download/install without codes.

Anybody know when ark is going to be playable by pc and xbox servers?

I just bought the game thinking ark was already a play anywhere game but was sadden to see it was only my xbox that was able to download it and not my PC as well. Will i still be able to download it on my Windows 10 PC? Was going to play Ark with a friend
on pc and xbox but now that is not happening soon!

Unfortunately this is not possible. You will need to download the game directly to the Xbox One.

Hi, Original Xbox and 360 and Xbox one Disc games do not work on Windows 10 (or any versions of windows for that matter) Now Xbox one games are going to be Playable on Xbox one and Windows 10 PC's (if you have game computer specs on your PC) and that is
download only. Xbox one Discs will not work even with the Cross play.

Now you can play Xbox Live games like Asphalt 8, Minecraft windows 10 edition /story mode edition, and other games that can be on windows 10.

She can play any of the Game Pass for PC games on the PC. It does not matter what games she downloads to the Xbox One. As long as she has Game Pass Ultimate she only needs to log into the Xbox App on Windows 10 to download and play the games. As long
as the PC being used has the hardware capable of playing the games.

Obsessive Power

The Xbox Game pass website is actually out of date. Xbox One games that are in the 'Play Anywhere' program and are in the current Game Pass Catalogue can be downloaded and played as part of the subscription on a Windows 10 PC.

I've checked on my PC and they are showing an 'Install' option for my PC in the Windows Store.
