Download off-line last update for xbox one insiders

How can i dowload a OSU file to uptade offline insider alpha to my xbox one?

My Version is, 10.0.17721.2004 (rs5_release_xbox_dev_1810.180720-1510)!

xbox wont update, cant download OSU1, how to permanently set xbox to offline mode?

Ok so my xbox wont download the 3.5gig mandatory update that was release 3-4 weeks ago or so.

Every time I attempt to download the update via my xbox, it gets to somewhere between 27-31% and then says "there was a problem with the update" with "check network connection" at the bottom.

With the last update I had the same problem and it comes down to the pathetic internet download speeds in Australia. The xbox thinks that the download is not happening as it's below a threshold level.

Last time I was able to download the update manually, the OSU1 file and update via USB, but this time, it appears the same fault is stopping myself from downloading it to my computer, as the download stops at around the same percentage.

3.5 gigs can take several hours here in Australia.

So obviously I can't update this xbox so I can only play it off line.

Is there any setting in it to permanently set it to off line mode so it won't constantly look for a network connection on every boot up? It's getting annoying.

 

Original Xbox On update problem.

It sounds like the original xbox one that updates very often is enrolled in the insiders program where you get preview updates before others. If you want to unenroll please open the preview app and select the option to unenroll this xbox from the program
and the next update will be the regular public build.

About the network error, if you turn off the console and unplug it for 30 seconds and reboot does it still happen? Can you try the Network connection test in Settings > Network to be sure it doesn't say "hardware problem" after that reboot?

Hi, there is no offline update for consoles that are registered in the Insider program. The only option is to install online. You could leave feedback asking for an offline update on their forums Xbox Insiders

 

Thanks for the answer, unfortunately, this shows how dangerous it can be to participate in the insider program, I will expect a public update to try to fix my Xbox!,

Seems to be the only SOLUTION!

if everyone left the program, perhaps Microsoft had more respect for its participants!
