Download of X-Box 360 games to computer

Hello,

I have run into a bit of an issue that I was hoping you would be able to assist me with. I have been attempting to retrieve the files of games from my X-Box 360 hard drive via Xport 360 and place them onto my desktop. Apparently, the software is unable to
retrieve certain aspects and the files copied over are not complete. I know it is not my system nor the emulator I am using as I have checked the compatibility of them. Furthermore, there is a discrepancy of roughly 4 mb of data not copied over between
the file on my desktop and the file on the 360 hard drive, confirming the copying issue.
I instead have been attempting to download the games directly from the Microsoft Xbox store to my computer as I already own them, but the downloader will not recognize my desktop as a valid download option even though I have added it to my Microsoft
account correctly. I was wondering if it was at all possible to get the downloader to send the game files to my desktop. The games in question are Halo Reach and Halo 3.

Emulation in itself is perfectly legal. Distributing pirated ISO files is illegal.

Downloading old games is technically illegal, but concerns 'Civil Law' not 'Criminal Law'. There is little chance of you going to prison because you downloaded 'Ms. Pacman' for an Atari 2600 emulator for example.

You won't be able to do this, nor should you be discussing emulation or violations of TOS.

The xbox 360 data is not meant to be transferred to a PC.

This isn't something support by Microsoft.

No, it is not at all possible to send game files to your PC.

Also, It;s worth noting that use of emulators on PC is not legal.

The store doesn't allow the download of Xbox 360 games to your PC, as the mechanism for licensing these files and "unlocking" these files via the licensing system don't work on the PC.

I assume you're trying get your stuff running with Xenia? The Reddit has a guide on how to get the games on your PC properly, and it does not use Xport 360.

So while it's not allowed to discuss unlicensed third party software to transfer official Xbox stuff to your PC, this post should have given you enough hints to get you going into the right direction.

If you still have trouble getting it to run properly, ask in the Reddit.

If you're unable to find the Reddit and how to ask properly there, simply play the games on your Xbox 360 console.
