download lego marvel

i have downloaded lego marvel and it asks me to insert cd!!! why?

I have the same problem. And they know about the problem. They are working on it.

 

Same problem, so I uninstalled it to re download it, and it is not showing in the store to download it. hope it gets fixed soon, this is my sons favorite game.

 

I'm having the same issue. When I went to download again it said installation stopped. Oddly, when you look at it in the store there is no option to install or purchase. Also, when you search it on xbox.com it's gone for xbox one entirely.

 

Now i tried to unistall and reinstall and a 19% download is blocked

 

I'm also having this same issue. My son was trying all morning to play it and will not work. I just spent that last half hour figuring out what the issue was. Like the users mine is also a digital copy and a message comes up asking for the disc. I'm worried
that I uninstalled it and now I risk losing hours and hours of gameplay. Including all the unlocked characters (which took days if not weeks to unlock).

I'm beyond upset with Microsoft right now. I tried supporting "Digital Copy Purchases" and I just get *** over. Microsoft almost went Digital Copy only and now they can't even run it properly. I'm sorry to say, but disc copies only will always be the only
way to go. There has been no benefits to digital copies. I have invested way to much time and money into Microsoft. Please fix this asap.

 

I'm getting the same issue. Payed for the digital copy last week and finally had time to play it last night.

*It wouldn't run and asked for the disk.

*I uninstalled it and now the download locks up at 19%.

My Xbox One experience has been underwhelming so far. 3rd party software issues or not, I'm rapidly losing faith in the Microsoft brand.

This should have fixed - yesterday -.

 

I think the 19% is related to the ready to start which requires the disc if it's a disc based game. Buying digital games is usually at a premium since you can probably get the disc cheaper and this is not making me feel good about buying digital in the future.

A little word from support on this would be nice. Between this and the chat issues my friends and I have experienced i'm slowly losing faith in xbox which I've been proud to support since it was always a great experience.

 

I know this might be extreme, but has anybody at this point tried to restore their console to factory defaults and try to reinstall the game from that point?

 

I spoke with Microsoft earlier about this same issue and unfortunately they are definatly doing server maintenance which the guy I spoke to says that's probably why it won't work or show up in the store!!! The sad part is I pretty much had to walk him through
figuring out the problem ?!?!?! I don't understand why we have to pay thes big bucks for Microsoft entertainment yet we can't even use it properly!! I asked the guy what can be done since I am a paying customer who is very disappointed and he said if it continues
for 2 more days then he will send the problem to a specialist and get something ekes resolved..... To me that's very sad that you can't just talk to a specialist in the first place and get more accurate help! We as paying customers should be notified that
certain games may not work or something instead of just getting *** when it comes to try to enjoy some game time that we pay good money for! It wouldn't be that hard to send something out notifying us but I guess we just have to be patient a frustrated at
the same time because ....... I was told they are working on some download issues and that the server they are working on might be affecting this game!! I have always stood by Microsoft but I must say this is my second really frustrating experience and I
believe that paying customers should not be treated this way!

 

I have the same issue! I have entered on Microsoft Support and there is no information about this specific problem. The bad thing is because it is my son's favourite game. Another thing that is happening is the game crashing to home while trying to select
a car. I hope they fix this as well when they solve the actual problem.

 

I went on twice, and basically pointed them to this thread. They told me they saw reports of the issues but had no idea what was going on. They actually refunded me the money for the game and told me to rebuy it later.

I may buy it again if it comes back in the next day or so but i'm seriously thinking of getting it from Amazon. Pretty sad because I really wanted to go all digital but between prices and now this i'm beginning to rethink it.

 

Same problem. Every other digitally downloaded game works. Xbox runs fine. Just this game doesn't.

Paid sixty bucks for this. My little boy plays it all day. And now it doesn't work and I'm forced to go outside to the PARK! And to take him on BIKE RIDES! I HATE fresh air! I'm getting SUNBURNT just stepping outside! My kids is asking me all sorts of questions
about life, and I can't shut him up anymore with this game. HELP!!!!!
