Download issues on XB1

Wondering if someone can shed some light here. Every since I got the XB1. I have no real issues other than installing games and downloading games taking ages. I loaded up FIFA almost a hour ago and it asked to download a update (think it was 500mb). It has
been going for about 45-50 minutes not and is only on 34%. I downloaded Powerstar Golf the other day which took about 40 minutes. Is this normal for downloads to be a little slow on XB1?

I am on Virgin 100mb package (pretty sure it is now 120mb). Just checking speedtest.net am getting 72Mbps download and 10.14Mbps upload which is not bad. So I can't be my connection. I have it connected via homeplug (wired). My PC and other things seem to be
fine. Is there any ports I should look at opening via the Virgin homehub?

Both ps4 and xb1 are having issues. They couldn't download either

I would be curious to see if there's some hardware cap on the XB1. I've seen the similar issues, though not nearly as severe. I'm seeing an average of 48-57MBPS down/11-12 up on both a computer and PS4 hardwired to the modem, but the XB1 maxes out around
24-25 down/11-12 up. Seems to only affect download speeds.

 

It's your NAT. Xbox One should be blasting through in those speeds. At 15MBps I can download an update within 5 minutes. I can play on US servers for Titanfall without issue.

 

I have 30 down and 5 up and fifa took me less than 5 minutes to update yesterday. Your network is messed up.

 

My nat is nat type 2/open. Once it got to around 40% if then downloaded fully within minutes. Not sure why it downloads slow in the beginning.

 

That is odd I have 15 down and download faster than that.
