Download Issues for updates & Install

Ive been having issues with my Xbox One in that it downloads stuff (Updates and new games) to a certain percentage, cycles to queued and then when it resumes it starts from scratch. Ive tried resetting the Xbox. direct wired connection, called the support
services (Whom said it was a disk issue which it isnt as i cant download Warframe because of it). unplugged the console from the wall and tried waiting it out. its starting to get on my nerves as this problem has put 4 games out of my 7 out of commission and
i cant install new games because of the mandatory day 1 updates

Any help you guys can give me would be a great help

Game Installation By Disc Fixed On Xbox One?

Have any of the recent updates fixed game installation by disc? Have heard that game installs by disc can be very long if the One is connected to the internet because the console will download the entire game and updates instead of doing the main game install from the disc. Not sure why this was ever an issue because the console should have been able to detect when a disc is inserted and do the game install from the disc. Only updates should have been downloaded.

When you install by disc it installs from the disc. It doesn't download the entire game, only updates.

I am in the same boat. Just bought the Xbox one and the new halo. The first time it downloaded the update 100% but it didn't work, so I had to uninstall and start from scratch. Now it is stuck on 60% and won't move from there. Haven't been able to get a
straight answer yet. ANYONE LOOKING TO GET A NEW GAMING SYSTEM BE WARY OF XBOX ONE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PS4, as I have not heard of anyone not being able to play it. Glad I went out and blew money on this piece of junk. Thanks Microsoft!!!!

I'm having the same issue with ufc update it gets to 9 percent and won't go any further, been like this for 2 days now, also been trying to download power star golf for my free games with gold game and that won't go past 1 percent. I have over 30 percent
free space on my console

I'm also having the same issue, Microsoft doesn't even cares about it, very bad service.

Just a quick fix try this

go to System > Storage

and press the following buttons LB RB X LB RB X LB RB X

a pop up will appear, select yes to delete the latest dash update

reboot the console and do a network test to get the latest update again

I appreciate the responses on it. Unfortunately I still am having problems and I just can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

I checked my memory, I definitely have more than 300MB available on my console, so I doubt that would be the issue. I tried doing the test for Xbox Live. It detects that internet is present but when it goes to test for Xbox Live it says I need to update.
I hit 'yes' and it initializes the update then fails immediately.

Any feedback or advice would be great. I cannot figure out why this is happening and it's driving me nuts.

You could try manual update using a USB disk using the instructions here
support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-info

Alternatively you could try moving you xbox to your routers DMZ and trying the download again, how to do that would depend on your router but it is usually in the LAN/DHCP settings
