    No,any downloadable content is able to be accessed by any profile on that xbox 360.
    exactly the same principal as downloading an arcade game on your profile,and your wife/partner/anybody else being able to play on theirs.

    Can you digitally download xbox 360 games on the xbox one

    You can find the odd xbox original game to download on the xbox 360 xbox live, but will the xbox one release xbox 360 games to digitally download

    then you have two options first and foremost you must live in an xbox live region as most games require it

    I'd you live in a xbox live region you shouldn't have an issue getting a credit card

    As most xbox live regions has a credit card system

    If you live in an xbox live region and don't have a credit card then you only have one and only one option only

    Use an xbox 360 with an in region account to queue it

    For.most.ganes with gold your account region has to match your actual region

    Please note thisndoesnt apply to xbox one games.

    Only xbox 360 as they are mostly region locked

    That's weird because once it downloaded on the Xbox One it automatically downloads on the 360 as well check on the download pending on the 360 if game is downloading.

    Where did the Xbox 360 games come from? Another Xbox 360?

    If they were downloaded via an Xbox One/Series console you can't play these games on an Xbox 360. Firstly the drive wouldn't be configured for an Xbox 360. Secondly, Xbox 360 games downloaded via an Xbox One or Series X|S are actually 360 games that have been converted to run on an Xbox One, they are no longer native Xbox 360 games.

    On your console, sign in to Xbox Live. Go to games, and then select Browse Games or Search Games. Search for the game you want to download and select Confirm Download. If you can't download your game, see

    Troubleshoot Xbox 360 connection     to Xbox Live.

    Downloading Xbox 360 Games With Gold

    Hi, if you have access to an Xbox 360 it's fairly simple, you start the download on the 360 and then cancel the download and the game will show as ready to install on your Xbox One, not elegant but it works.

    The 360 side of the store on the Xbox One has some issues still and I've never been able to download any of the 360 games either other than starting the download on my 360 as described above.

    Are you using a child account and trying to download an Xbox 360 game on an Xbox One. If so, you will need to download it on an Xbox 360.
