Download game when it is on a disk

    I just got my Xbox One and I try to play Titanfall and it tell me that it has to download the game before I can play it but the thing is the game is on a disk. shouldn't the game already be on the disk and I shouldn't have to download anything. I understand
    updates but this said I have to download the whole game. Then it takes 4 hours to download. So this is just making me mad that I have to download it before I can play the actual game.

    Quick question about automatic game updates...

    So I'm curious about the automatic game updates while the system is on standby in "Instant On" mode. I know that if you try to download the update when launching the game and you eject the disk the update won't download. This is where I get confused.
    If there isn't a disk in the drive when the system checks for updates on standby, will it still download the update and complete it once you insert the disk? Or do you have to be psychic and know when the game is going to have an update? Sounds confusing I
    know.

    the files are too large and the read speed is too slow for a game to play directly off of a disc (not disk) so that is the reason why games need to be installed to the HDD

    Disconnect from the internet before you install. Then reconnect and get the updates, This will make things go faster.

    Disconnect from the internet before you install. Then reconnect and get the updates, This will make things go faster.

    Well digitally it may be possible, but when you say downloading a game from disk, then it's not possible. Downloading a disk game doesn't give you a license to the digital game. If that ever be the case then only one person will buy a disk and share it
    across with everyone else, and everyone will get the digital game for free.

    I'm pretty sure your still going to have to download the game again. When you download it from disk it doesn't take all the information off of the disk to be able play without it so that's why you have to boot the disk to play.
