    Hi. Some time ago I bought "Resident Evil 1 Remastered" for Xbox 360 via the Microsoft Marketplace. Recently I bought an Xbox One and to my surprise this game does not have backward compatibility. I would like to keep playing the game, however I don't
    want to purchase it again, since I have already paid for it. How can I download the game for Xbox One? It's absolutely the same game, only different platform, and I consider unfair having to pay twice for it. Thanks in advance

    Downloadable content and games are not compatible between the Xbox One console and Xbox 360 console. If you have purchased downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and would like to use it on the Xbox One, you will need to purchase it on the Xbox One.

    If 360 games are not compatible with xbox one then the option to re-purchase or download for free won`t even exist.

    There simply won`t be any 360 games on the xbox one.

    As far as the 360 goes,anything you have already purchased will always be there to download for free,for as long as microsoft support the 360.

    Not all Xbox 360 games are able to be purchased on the Xbox One console. In this particular case you would need to purchase the game on an Xbox 360 console or on Xbox.com. Once you purchase the game on the website as FearedNightmare suggested, you'll be
    able to download the game from the Ready to Install section on the Xbox One console.
