I'm getting the same issue. I used to be able to play game on original Xbox One. I just got the Xbox One X and the game just gives me a blank black screen after loading game title splash screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Were you able
to fix your issue? Any suggestions would be helpful.

 

Try clearing the cache on your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

same stinkin issue on xbox one x

 

I cleared cache, local saved games, moved the game to internal hard drive, went offline, etc. In the end I got the game to work after factory resetting my brand new Xbox One X.

It also fixed another issue with another game where I couldn't access to pre-ordered content within the game but the files were on the system.

 

i simply uninstalled the game and all add ons, redownloaded the base game and installed to internal drive amd it works... havent tried downloading dlc yet...
