    Yep you're right, I had to start the download manually.

    Would be a cool feature if content purchased from the store could download in the background like updates

    But I don't quite get the part which it needs your mobile to download things on your console.

    Because, the console doesn't actually need any phone to download something on your console. You could use it to download directly to your console yes, but, you can do it on your console alone.

    What happens exactly when you go to the store on your console and try to download any games you own?

    It's very frustrating, It wants me use a mobile phone all the time, to download anything at all, as i do not have a mobile, and to honest would never need one for this kind of thing normally, it beats the object of having a xbox 1s, wish id never bought the damn thing now and waited for the new ps5.

    Dont get me wrong when its working its ok, but glitch after glitch after glitch dam annoying.
