HDMI problems on x box one s

I have a X Box one S and since downloading Forza Horizon 4 the HDMI link with the TV has started to phase in and out. Mostly I am left with a black screen. This does not just happen when playing Forza, it also happens when the console is initially loading
up and playing other games. Tried a different TV which is running an older x box one and Forza 4 fine, but the same problem happens. Tried a number of different HDMI cables as well. The console is less than a year old so hoping its not the actual socket as
thought it would be built a little bit better than that to be honest.

Hello, I plan to buy an xbox one x, and I have pc, I have bought the forza horizon 4 on PC and I wanted to know if it is possible to use that account on xbox and have it there without having to buy it again on xbox

 

Hi there, sorry to hear about this issue. Is it possible that you don't have enough storage space on your hard drive for the update?

 

Some things to try:

1. Make sure all Windows Updates are installed. (Start > type Updates and select that)

2. Try running the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps.
Select the Start > type Troubleshoot and select it > Scroll down and select "Windows Store Apps" and see if something wasn't fixed.

3. Update Microsoft Store: Select the
Start > Microsoft Store. Select the 3 dots at the top right > Downloads and updates >
Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.

4. Clear the app's cache and reset it: Select the
Start > Type Apps & features. Select Forza Horizon 4 and then select Advanced. Select Reset. (this will erase saves so make sure you have been online when saving so that your cloud saves will download again. More on that

5. Reinstall the game.

of the Microsoft Store? Be sure to let us know the results!

If the game is not showing, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling your profile. This will update the information for games and such that you own. Also how did you purchase the game? If through the store then you can check for the purchase on the
Account website.

As suggested by fellow XBF Brad A sign out of the profile on the Xbox App, go to settings and under the Microsoft Account email there is a Sign out button. Give it a shot
If and only if the email and password are known. Once its signed out sign back in using the information of the Microsoft Account and try to re-download Forza and let us know how it goes!
